Finally the end post of my blog and this assignment.
I'll answer the teachers questions in the order he wrote them.
Have I recieved any ideas for what to put into my book report or analysis? No. Not at all. I can not fathom h
ow this blog would help me in that assignment. Analyse the book, its as simple as that is it not?
If this blog asignment has made me think critically about what I read? No, it has not done that either, although one must always think critically in this world of ours, as it is full of people who never have any backup for their own statements, alot do though of course.
Has it made me a more observant reader?: Neither has it done this, but I do always try my best to be as observant as possible, atleast in things that interest me.
If I have gotten more insight on what my classmates are doing?: I do not want to mention names here by the way. Both yay and nay. If someone writes on their blog about what they have been doing or their activities or what they like etc etc, then of course I will have received insight on this, athough if they don't then no not at all.
No sorry mate, I have not had fun at all writing a blog, I have an extremely bad relationship with bloggers as they are mostly nougatti monsters ("barbie" girls with platinahair and a box of dark skin cream mashed on their face).
I have not received constructive comments from the rest of my class but of course that has something to do with the current situation.
Is this a productive way of working with a book?:
NO. It is far from productive, it would just make me want to finish it as fast as possible while fullfilling criteria instead of having a good amount of time, researching the book and author at my own leisure whilst being able to relax, instead of having deadlines several times a week.
This is Insurgos Aeternum, leaving you with this post.

J.R.R Tolkien
I wrote quite a bit about Tolkien in my 2nd post here. You may as well read that in advance if you have not already.
Also I do know quite a bit about Sir. Tolkien, In my previous school I did an immense research undertaking him and his works of exquisite fictions.
As previously stated J.R.R Tolkien is a genious, no doubt about that. He creates a world so unimaginabely lively. Wherever you go in his stories you always hear rumours and tales of events transpiring in the distant corners of middle-earth and everything he does is just brilliant.
I would oh so much read all of his works regarding middle-earth, it is so immensily terriffic. You just always want to know more about this region and that region, and what happened in the past. What's beyond the vast desert of Rhûn? What lies in store for the adventurers who travel north, beyond the ice-barrier.

Setting of the world
The setting of the world of Middle-earth is very, very much like our own world was back in the middle ages. And as I stated in a previous post Tolkien did want to create a saga for English litterature and folk-history, so the landscapes of Middle-earth reminds one of England quite alot, well atleast the Shire, with green fields all over, and small closely-knit communities where everyone knows one another. But it is an entire continent though, so everything is not the same way as it is in the Shire.
The Shire as described is in the center of the north-western part of Middle-earth.
If you travel past the mountain ridges north of the Shire you will enter the Lost Realm of Arnor. Which used to be a human empire, and the terrain there reminds one of foresty Sweden.
If you travell to the east towards rivendell you will encounter the misty mountains, which rise high up above middle-earth and divides the entire continent almost completely in half.
In the center of middle-earth is Rohan, Land of the horselords, here you will find long yellow grassy plains wherever you go, and you will also spot a large amounts of horsepacks.
Rhovanion is the largest "region" and is a huge plane of barren fields consisting of dirt.
The giant region of forest on the eastern edge of the misty mountains is Mirkwood, home to the now-isolated wood-elves. It has enormous trees the size of redwoods except they have alot more branches on them, and the trees are very much alive as any other creature in middle-earth, speaking of that there are ents there too, trees with humanoid features such as legs arms and faces, these trees herd other trees around and help them to grow and spread themselves with seeds.
At the bottom of middle-earth is Gondor, the great kingdom of men. These lands also reminds one of england, with long grassy plains where man frolicks and extends their kingdom.
And in the south-easternmost corner is Mordor. The black land. This is the home and root of all evil beings in middle-earth including their leader, Sauron, who from there commands his armies about middle-earth.

So my class is supposed to either write a book report or book analysis on the book we have chosen, and I will definitely write a book analysis. The reason is pretty simple: If you nail the report you get a 5, if you do not quite nail the analysis as much u get a 5 too, but if you nail the analysis you get a 6.
So I am basically following the phrase: "shoot for the stars, even if you miss you will land on the moon".

Bilbo standing outside his home, Bag-end, as illustrated by Alan Lee. |
As mentioned, he is quite fine with his lazy way of life, not doing much, enjoying the cardinal pleasures of life.
But the wizard Gandalf, whom Bilbo has known for most of his life, one day stops outside his house and addresses Bilbo. He wants him to join himself and a party of 13 dwarves on an adventure. They wish to destroy the evil dragon Smáug and retrieve all the treasure which he has stolen from the dwarves over time.
Of course Bilbo wants no part in this fool's errand: A dragon? how silly, there is no such thing. But even so, it would be ridicuous to traverse entire middle-earth with a bunch of stranger dwarves in order to help them with some old quest.
But even with this thinking Bilbo feels a strange call he has never experienced before. He suddenly feels the call for adventure, and after alot of convincing from Gandalf (well not that much, he is a wizard after all) he decides to accompany the dwarves on their quest to the mountain edge of middle-earth.
And during this journey he converts from being a cowardly, chubby little hobbit into becoming a fearless, smug and tricksy rogue.

The book I chose to read is The Hobbit, written by J.R.R Tolkien; the biggest genius which has ever been observed in this world concerning litterature of any kind.
Here's a pretty artwork to feast your eyes upon created by Alan Lee This is the version I have read -->
Tolkien is quite a stunning man, not only did he invent an entire world, but he did it in such a way it seems more like it actually happened in the long ago in the past. Which was also his goal; he felt that the litterature of english was so extremely weak, especially compared to other contries such as the Nordic ones with all our viking sagas, that he had the urge to create an entire saga on his own to fill in the gap in English litterature. Every single book he ever wrote regarding Middle-earth started with a simple sentence: "There was a hole, and in that hole lived a hobbit". And this sentence just appeared in his head while he was sitting at a university grading his students tests.
So with that one line, came The Hobbit, Lord of The Rings, The Children of Hûrin, The Silmarillion etc.
I just felt the need to write something about this genius in addition.

Maledicta; So here's the blog
I will not be stating the name given to me by my peers; as I do not even wish for my written documents to be observed by unspecified persons, but I am forced to as it is part of an undertaking in finishing an assignment given to me by my English teacher.
I merely want to make this clear.
